Customer Reviews

Absolutely loved the experience! Owen is an excellent guide - knowledgeable, friendly and always ready to give riding advice. Would recommend this experience to anyone. - Joe van der Walt

We loved our ride, it was a great experience for the whole family. We are all beginners and our guide was amazing, making us all feel totally relaxed and at ease. Highly recommended if you are in the area. - Eve

We arrived at Hog Hollow and was greeted by a warm smile from the Ladies that checked us in. We were sat down and made to feel very welcomed. Myself only having been on one outride before was rather nervous, in the other hand my wife is an experienced rider so she was very much looking forward to it. We were introduced to our guide, met the horses and this made me more nervous as I was riding a very large ( for me anyway ) white Percheron. Anyway I got on and instantly felt a connection with the old girl. We set off and I must say it was an awesome experience. Quite a few times the guide told my wife to stay back so she could enjoy a small gallop which pleased her. The guide could see how comfortable I looked after a short while and also had me canter a few times. I enjoyed this very much but sitting on the Percheron was like sitting on a comfy sofa so I felt secure. The views through the forest was stunning and I would thoroughly recommend this outride to anyone, novice to experienced rider it caters for all. Will definately book again when we are passing through. - STEVE COMBE

Amazing experience, cannot recommend it enough, as complete beginners we were well looked after. The staff were lovely and the horses in very good condition and well cared for. Paul our guide made us feel really at ease. A must do - Mr & Mrs Abbott

Surprise 2hr Forest and Farm ride booked for me by daddy. My 2 cousins joined me even though they have very little riding experience. The guides really looked after them, and clipped them to their own horses during trickier section, but also allowed them on their own at times to get used to riding. I loved my horse, Grey Joy, and the guides (Owen). They even let me have a little gallop at one point. I had such fun riding , I would love tom come back and maybe next time we can ride to the beach :-) - Olivia Dorfler
